Coastal Bend Fun Community Boards was created by Dan and Melissa Canonge with a simple goal: help local businesses connect with the people who already live, work, eat and gather throughout the Coastal Bend.
We believe some of the best connections happen inside the places our community already knows and loves. Community Boards bring local gathering places and local businesses together in a way that’s simple, visible and built around supporting our community.
For us, this is more than placing businesses on a board. It’s about helping local businesses be seen, giving Host Businesses a useful way to communicate with their customers, and creating stronger connections throughout the Coastal Bend.
The Idea
People already spend time inside local restaurants and gathering places. A Community Board puts something useful right where they are.
For Host Businesses
A branded display for their own specials, events and changing information — at no cost.
For Featured Businesses
A visible, year-long presence inside a local location — with only six positions per board.
Local Businesses Supporting Local Businesses
Each board pairs a local Host with local Featured Businesses, so neighbors can discover the businesses around them while they’re out enjoying the Coastal Bend.
